“D-MAC Restoration is absolutely fabulous! I can’t even begin to say enough good things about this restoration service! I contacted D-MAC to help me with a property that I needed to sell quickly as part of an estate. The home had significant smoke damage from years of cigarette smoking. I needed to have the home thoroughly cleaned and painted. Initially, I tried to contract with various home service providers, painters, flooring folks. I was not at all satisfied with how the painters in particular were not willing to wash any of the walls prior to painting. My realtor suggested contacting a restoration service that would provide comprehensive cleaning and other contracting services.

We called D-MAC and they promptly came out and provided us with a very detailed estimate. I decided to use another company for replacing the flooring, and contracted with a plumber for some of the other parts of the work that were needed. In hindsight, I was so delighted with D-MAC, I totally wish I had used them for absolutely everything.

Their work was just stellar, on-time, beautifully executed, just flawless!! They left the place immaculate. If I had any questions, the owner was immediately available they did a ton of extra stuff for me, without charging. D-Mac does a lot more than just cleaning. Although they have great prices for cleaning, that’s just part of what they do. If you’re short on time and aren’t able to call other companies to compare prices and services, then you can simply go with D-Mac and feel confident that you’re getting the best service and pricing out there ‐ believe me because I did call and meet with at least 5 other companies before going with D-Mac.

In February 2009, we had quite a bit of water damage in our house from an overflowing toilet on the second floor. Having never experienced water damage, we were dreading the process of having to deal with an emergency water services company and our insurance. I opened up the Yellow Pages and called several companies that provided emergency water services. One of those companies happened to be D-Mac. I met with several different companies, including D-Mac, and immediately D-Mac stood out as providing the most honest, effective, efficient and helpful services. Some companies wouldn’t even come out to my house to provide a quote – which to me, means a quote can’t be that accurate.

The owner of D-Mac came out to my house the very first day that I called. I had countless questions about the drying process, the prospect of mold, mold remediation, dealing with insurance, the restoration process, the cost of all of this, etc. The owner patiently answered all of my questions (even the ones I asked several times) and he explained the answers in a way I could understand. He even provided me with helpful tips on dealing with my insurance company.

Once I made a decision to go with D-Mac, it was late on a Friday afternoon. Nevertheless, D-Mac started the drying process immediately and worked until after 8:00 p.m. to set up the dryers and air-scrubbers. I didn’t have to wait until Saturday morning, or worse, Monday morning to start this process. One of the problems with water damage is the possibility of mold developing. I have a 2 year-old in the house and am a stay-at-home mom so we’re home a significant part of each day. As such, I was very nervous about the health problems associated with mold. The owner of D-Mac understood and recognized my uneasiness about this and set up several extra “air-scrubbers” in the house. Basically, an “air-scrubber” is a high-powered machine with HEPA filters that cycles in the air from the room, cleans it, and then cycles it back out to help ensure that the air you’re breathing is clean. Insurance was only going to pay for 5 days of these machines, but D-Mac let us keep them for 7 or 8 days until the mold remediation began without charging us for the extra days. The owner has two young kids himself and he completely understood and empathized with my anxiety about breathing in the air.

Finally, as I mentioned, the drying process was a 7-8 day process. During that entire time, the owner kept in contact with me on a daily basis to measure how the drying was coming along, returned all of my calls immediately, and continued to answer my endless questions.

In sum, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company for emergency water services or any other services they provide. I’ll end this review the way I started it: I can’t give D-Mac high enough praises for their professionalism, patience, pricing, knowledge, effectiveness and kindness”
